Christmas Fun

A few days before Christmas, we took Vance to see Santa at the Columbus Zoo! This is where he met Santa last year! The zoo has an amazing lights display called "Wildlights" and this year was especially beautiful. Well, the trip to see Santa was not all I dreamed it would be but it became a memory that we will treasure forever! Vance CRIED the entire time. Our independent, daring, son burst into tears the second I got close to Santa and Chad got some great pictures to show it.

I just had to add this picture below...here is Vance at 3 months old last year at the zoo meeting Santa for the first time. No tears last year...we'll see about next year!

We hosted our 3rd annual Christmas Sweater Party this year and it was a blast! We have an amazing group of friends here in Columbus and everyone looks forward to this annual event! Some people borrowed sweaters...some made them! The crazy boys are pictured above and below are all the ladies!

We have everyone vote on their favorite sweater and our three finalists were Amanda, Martha and Josh!

Amanda won this year and had a GREAT Christmas sweater! Chad and I found the BEST prize for our winner this year. It was an acutal Christmas sweater ornament with the year 2008 embroidered on the back. What a momento!

Vance had so much fun celebrating Christmas with his great grandma Mary and great grandpa Paul!

Vance and Brady also enjoyed spending a wonderful Christmas with their grandma Lorrie and grandpa Dave! They love these two boys more than anything!

Here are the boys getting all ready to open Christmas presents with grandma Lorrie and grandpa Dave. They both had to enjoy their milk first!

Then both boys got out to push the car! They pushed that car all around the house and giggled the entire time! They are such wonderful friends!
