We took Vance to get his first official hair cut in January! Chad said it was time... I was not ready for this yet! The photo above is after the hair cut. Notice Vance does not have his usual smile... he cried the entire time and was not too thrilled when we took this photo. Vance looked adorable after his first hair cut. He definitely looked more grown up... he is not a little baby anymore.

We tried everything to make this experience better for Vance. He had a cracker in one hand and cheerios in the other... what more could he want! The fire engine seat and Elmo cartoons just didn't do the trick either. Better luck next time!
Once we got home, we were able to get some good pictures of Vance's new hair cut! This look is pretty common at home... one hand on the palm tree and the other on his golf club!
There's that smile we all love so much!
Vance is always reading now! He loves to 'read' to himself and flip through the pages. We love that he is so into books and we hope that enthusiasm stays with him!

"My favorite is 'The Tooth Book' of course!"
